Di, Tracy and April have combined their years of quilting and hosting and attending quilt retreats to put together an event we guarantee will be enjoyable, relaxing, fun filled, intimate and informational. You will come away with a new lease on your quilting life, as our retreat is designed for quilters of all ages (that is if they’re 18 or older). You will meet up with old friends and make dear new friends from all over. Quilters are the warmest, most giving, caring, creative people on the earth! Feel free to wear your slippers, quilt in your jammies, stay up late or get up before the birds and just quilt and have a great time! Whether you have threads stuck to your comfy clothes or like to dress a little fancy; we have a space for you and you are a welcome addition to The 3 Amigas Quilt Retreat!

REFUND POLICY for 3 Quilt Amigas Retreat

If you cancel at least 60 days before the retreat start date, you are eligible for a refund ONLY if a replacement attendee is found.
You may either:
1. Find a Replacement: Secure another participant to take your place. You must notify us with their details for approval.
2. Waitlist Option: If the retreat is sold out, we will attempt to fill your spot from the waitlist.
No Refunds for Late Cancellations: If you cancel less than 60 days before the retreat and no replacement is found, no refund will be issued.
Administrative Fees: A $75, administrative fee will be deducted from your refund for processing changes.
Important Note: Refunds are not guaranteed and depend on the ability to fill your spot.

VIP ticket holder check in time is 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. (Only 20 VIP tickets Available.)

Check out for all quilt retreat guests is 11:00am on Saturday May 3, 2025.

What to expect:

Wifi, Cable TV, Luggage Racks.
7,200 Square Foot Event Hall (Ground Level).
Group cutting/ironing stations available in the event hall.
All quilters attending the quilt retreat will have their own “quilting table space” in the event hall.
Less than a mile from the Missouri Star Quilt Company quilt shops.

The hotel is made up of 6 guest suites. Each suite includes two bedrooms, 3-4 bathrooms and a sitting room. The 7,200 event center is designed for quilters in mind. Each quilter will have a 6’ table to call their own during the retreat. There are group cutting and ironing stations provided.

Guest Suite Details

All suites are on ground level. No stairs.

The guest suites are designed with comfort in mind. The hotel holds 58 Twin beds (5 in each bedroom). Each guest can relax in their space with a luxurious pillow-top mattress, luxurious soft sheets, and comforter. Bedside table and lamp and outlets for charging devices near each bed. Each 2 bedroom suite includes a sitting room. Each gathering space is comfortably decorated with furnishings to relax and enjoy, 50” TV with over 150 channels. FREE Wifi Included.

Suites also include 3-4 Bathrooms. Each bathroom has an ADA height stool and walk-in shower. Vanities are on the exterior of the bathrooms allowing for multi-users. Blow dryer also included near bathrooms.

Continental Breakfast is included if you're staying at the event hall. Commuter ticket holders will receive all meals except breakfast, But the commuter may purchase the breakfast for an added cost of $24 for the entire .

The quilting area has an open kitchen with Refrigerator, Sink, Microwave, Ice Machine and Coffee Pots. These are available for ALL guest use, including commuter ticket holders during their stay.

Details:

Commuter Tickets: There will be 42 Commuter Tickets available, which allow you to be a member of the retreat but to stay off site, at one of the local inns or Bed & Breakfasts, Airbnb or VRBO’s. The ticket price will be a discount price of $929.00 and you will commute to the event center each day. These do not include the continental breakfast. However, if you want the continental breakfast you have the option of purchasing it for $6.00 a day.

Optional VIP Ticket: There will be 20 VIP tickets available on a first come first serve basis, which includes an off site reception with The 3 Quilt Amigas attending. It will be held on Tuesday evening and will include personal, one on one time with The 3 Quilt Amigas. Receive an extra chance to win Limited Edition Juki Sewing Machine. Extra Swag Bag in addition to the one you will receive at the retreat. Each swag bag will include 3 handmade items, 1 from each of the Amigas along with other quilting items of value. This will be a fun, exciting and memorable evening and we hope you will join us. Cost of the VIP ticket will be $250

Sewing Machine Rental: If you don’t wish to travel with your machine Sewing Machine Kits are available to rent during your stay. $30 for the entire retreat and include:Includes machine, ruler, mat, rotary cutter, scissors and 1/4" foot. There are 42 sewing machine kits available and rent on a first come first serve basis.

Snack Table: There will be a snack sharing table. Please bring your own favorite munchies to share. There is coffee, tea & ice water available for you all day in the kitchen. If you would like your own special drinks, bring them and you can store them in the fridge. You do have use of the kitchen area except when meals are being served. The kitchen is a shared area and each guest is responsible for cleaning up their own mess after using the kitchen.

Show and Tell: This is a group of over 100 quilters who love to see each others projects. Of course we will have a show and tell, in fact we will break it into 3 nights with a show and tell on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night. So, feel free to bring your projects so we can all see them! Or you can show and tell one of the projects you’re working on at the retreat.

Where Is This Retreat? The retreat center is the Hotel Hamilton in Hamilton Missouri, just 1 mile away from the famous Missouri Star Quilt Shop. Hamilton is located 15 minutes East of of I-35 on MO Highway 36, about 60 miles north of Kansas City. If you’re flying in you want to fly into the Kansas City International Airport (MCI)

There is a local shuttle option if you don't want to rent a car. Call Liz Manley at 816-351-9172 to pick you up from the airport and bring you to the Hamilton Hotel.

Are Quilting Men or Husbands Welcome? Yes, however because of the shared room set up, they would need to purchase a commuter ticket and book a room to stay off site.
